IINFRASTRUKTUR & UMWELT carries out consulting projects in developing and emerging countries on behalf of national, European, and international funding institutions and organizations. Our development cooperation activities in the field of circular economy and waste management were significantly reduced in 2024 following the departure of the partner primarily responsible for this area.
We continue to support projects in our current areas of focus—flood prevention, climate change adaptation, and climate protection—within the framework of development cooperation as well.
As we do in Germany, we take a cross-sectoral approach to optimize institutional and legal frameworks.
We have been active in development cooperation for 20 years – in short- and long-term projects in Asia, North Africa and the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Europe. On-site presence and coordination are essential prerequisites for success. Because we provide more than just engineering technology: We work across sectors and help to improve the institutional and legal framework.
