In the INTERREG VI B project “IB-Green”, 11 project partners from North-West Europe are developing climate adaptation measures in industrial and business parks with implementation in pilot areas. The aim is to reduce heat stress through green-blue infrastructures and thus contributing to healthier working and living conditions as well as lower climatic and economic risks for companies and municipalities.
At the second working group meeting at the Ministry of Housing and Spatial planning in Luxembourg the project partners from Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Ireland and the Netherlands prepared the pilot activities and discussed the framework of the joint IB-Green strategy. The visit of the „Zone d‘activité Windhof” demonstrated possibilities to embed blue-green measures in industrial and business parks.
