The focus consultation serves as an entry point for a municipality into climate protection. INFRASTRUKTUR & UMWELT (IU) advises the city of Schlüchtern and supervises the preparation of an energy and greenhouse gas balance as well as the participation of stakeholders and the identification of measures. At the same time, climate protection is to be integrated as a cross-sectional task in the administration.
The results of the energy and greenhouse gas balance were presented to the public. At the same time, it was possible to advertise the State Energy Agency LEA’s “Energy Advice” project. The citizens were also asked to add their own suggestions to the concept of measures.
